Feature
Import V2Ray Configs from Links, Subscriptions, QR, Clash and sing-box
Bring configs from wherever you have them: a link, a seller's subscription, a QR code, a QR picture, a Clash file or a sing-box config.
Configs reach you in many shapes: a link in a chat, a subscription link from a seller, a QR code in a channel, or the config file of apps like Clash and sing-box. V2Duo reads all of them, so there is nothing to convert by hand.
Supported formats
| Format | Example or note |
|---|---|
| VLESS (with Reality, TLS, WebSocket, gRPC, XHTTP and more) | vless://... |
| VMess | vmess://... |
| Trojan | trojan://... |
| Shadowsocks | ss://... |
| Hysteria2 | hysteria2://... or hy2://... |
| Subscription | the https:// link your seller gives you; base64 text works too |
| Clash and Mihomo | YAML file with a proxies: section |
| sing-box | JSON file with an outbounds section |
| Xray outbound | one outbound as JSON |
TUIC and WireGuard are not supported, because the Xray core V2Duo is built on does not have them. If you import one, V2Duo tells you right away which entry was skipped and why, and imports the rest of the file.
Pasting links
The easiest way. Copy one or more links (one per line) and tap Paste on the Configs screen. If what you copied is a subscription link, V2Duo adds it as a subscription and fetches its configs.
On Windows there is also "Type or paste", which opens a box where you can paste longer text such as a whole Clash file.
Subscriptions
If your seller gave you a subscription link, add it with Add subscription. When the seller changes configs, one tap on update brings the new ones, and your earlier selection is kept where possible.
Scanning QR codes on Android
The Configs screen has two buttons:
- Scan QR: opens the camera. Point it at the QR code. Camera permission is asked only at that moment.
- QR from picture: pick an image from your gallery, such as a screenshot of a channel post. The picture is read on your phone only and is never uploaded.
Scanning QR codes on Windows
"Scan QR on screen" moves the V2Duo window aside for a moment, captures the screen (all monitors) and finds the QR code. The QR code just needs to be visible somewhere, for example in Telegram Desktop.
Another way: take a screenshot of the QR code with Win + Shift + S and press Paste in V2Duo. It reads pictures on the clipboard too.
Clash and Mihomo files
Clash files usually hold both servers and routing rules. V2Duo reads only the proxies section and ignores the rules, since it does its own routing. Supported types are vless, vmess, trojan, ss and hysteria2, with WebSocket, gRPC, HTTP/2, HTTPUpgrade and Reality settings.
sing-box configs
From a sing-box file, only real server outbounds are read. Outbounds like direct, block, selector and urltest, which are not servers, are skipped.
Self-signed certificates (allowInsecure)
Some configs carry an "allowInsecure" or "insecure" flag, meaning the server has no valid certificate. Newer Xray versions removed that option. Instead, V2Duo reads the server's current certificate when you import the config and pins it. The result is the same, but safer: if someone later swaps in a different certificate, the connection is refused.
After importing
- Tap Ping all to see which configs answer.
- Pick two or three fast ones. The reasons are in the guide to using several configs.
- If you have Hysteria2 configs, read the notes on Hysteria2.
Frequently asked questions
Does V2Duo send my configs anywhere?
No. Configs are stored encrypted on your device and never sent to our server.
My subscription link will not open. What now?
Some subscription links only open through a config. Connect once and tap update again.
Some configs in my Clash file were not imported. Why?
They are probably TUIC, WireGuard or Shadowsocks with a plugin, which are not supported. V2Duo's message names each one.
Ready to try it?
V2Duo is free and takes a minute to install.
