Use Several V2Ray Configs at Once with Automatic Health Checks

Instead of switching configs all day, turn on two or three good ones together. V2Duo spreads the load and sets broken configs aside by itself.

If you use V2Ray configs, you know the routine: the config that was great this morning is slow by evening or stops answering, and you have to open the app, ping everything and pick another. V2Duo does that for you. You can turn on several configs at the same time; the app spreads connections across them, and when one fails, it sets it aside without dropping your internet.

Why run several configs together?

Three reasons:

  • More speed: every server has its own speed ceiling. Spreading connections over two or three servers uses the capacity of all of them. This matters most when you combine connections, because your combined internet can be faster than any single server.
  • Stability: if one config dies, the others carry on.
  • Less work for you: no more switching configs every few hours.

How V2Duo knows a config is broken

Every two minutes, V2Duo sends one very small request through each config, on each of your links, to a test address. If the answer comes back, that config works on that link, and its response time (ping) is recorded. If no answer comes back, new connections go to the healthy paths instead. After two failed checks in a row, that path is set aside for five full minutes and then tried again.

Health is tracked per config and link pair. A config can work fine on home Wi-Fi and be blocked on one carrier's mobile data. V2Duo sets aside only that one broken path and keeps the rest.

On the home screen, under Active configs, each config has a coloured dot for every link: green with a ping means healthy, red means no answer, and a Paused label means it is set aside for now.

How many configs should you use?

We recommend two or three fast ones. More is not better:

  • Every extra config uses more memory, because a separate path is built for each of your links.
  • If one of the configs is slow, the connections that land on it stay slow.
  • Ten average configs usually perform worse than three good ones.

Step by step

  1. Add your configs. Paste a link, scan a QR code or add your seller's subscription. All formats are covered in the config import guide.
  2. On the Configs screen, tap Ping all.
  3. Tap Pick fastest to select the configs with the lowest ping. Tick one more by hand if you like.
  4. Connect. If you were already connected, changes apply by themselves a few seconds later; no need to reconnect.

Low ping does not always mean high speed. If you have a minute, use the Speed button next to each config to measure real download speed, and keep the ones that do well on both.

When a config is not accepted

Some configs have problems, such as missing settings or an unsupported protocol. V2Duo leaves them out of the connection and shows the reason on the home screen with a "Not usable" note. Your other configs keep working normally.

Together with connection modes

Several configs work with all three connection modes. In Max speed every config runs on every link. In Backup mode the configs run on your first link, and if that link drops, everything moves to the second.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix configs that use different protocols?

Yes. For example, one VLESS Reality config and one Hysteria2 config can run together.

Do websites get confused by changing IP addresses?

Each connection stays on one config from start to finish, but different connections may leave from different servers. Most sites do not mind. If one is sensitive, such as a foreign banking site, keep just one config on for a while.

Does a paused config come back?

Yes. After five minutes it is tried again, and if it answers, it rejoins. If it is still broken, it is set aside again.
