Feature
V2Duo for Windows 10 and 11, a Light V2Ray Client That Combines Cable, Wi-Fi and Phone
A complete Windows client that sends every app through the tunnel, combines all your adapters and is so light you forget it is running.
The Windows version of V2Duo is for people who want the whole computer, not just the browser, to use their configs, while also using every internet link they have. If you have used apps like v2rayN, the main difference is that V2Duo puts several network adapters to work at once and needs no manual proxy setup.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- Admin rights once, during installation
- For the interface: Microsoft Edge WebView2, already present on Windows 11 and most Windows 10 systems; the installer fetches it if missing.
Install in a minute
- Get the installer from the download page and run it.
- If SmartScreen appears, click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
- The installer adds a small Windows service called V2Duo that builds and runs the tunnel.
- Open the app from the Start menu. From then on you do not need admin rights to connect.
The whole system, not just the browser
V2Duo creates a virtual network adapter called V2Duo, and every app, from browsers and Telegram Desktop to games and download managers, goes through it. You do not set a proxy in any app, and apps that know nothing about proxies work too.
Combining adapters
On the home screen every adapter with internet access has its own card: cable, Wi-Fi, USB tethering from your phone or a cellular modem. V2Duo sends each path's traffic out of exactly that adapter; even each path's DNS lookups go out of the same adapter.
A recommended setup: home Wi-Fi plus your phone's internet over USB. Turn on USB tethering on the phone; Windows sees a new adapter and V2Duo adds it to the list. Full details are in the guide to combining connections.
DNS and IPv6 leak protection
"DNS & IPv6 leak protection" is on by default in Settings. While connected:
- all DNS requests go only through V2Duo, with no other way out;
- IPv6 is blocked so nothing slips past the tunnel.
If a network printer or a local service stops working, you can turn this off. More on security in the guide to leak protection and kill switch.
Light and quiet
We measure resource use of the Windows version in every release. With two links and four configs, when idle:
| Item | Measured |
|---|---|
| CPU when idle | 0.1 to 0.6 percent of one core |
| Service memory | about 77 to 97 MB |
| Memory with the window closed | the window is fully closed and its interface memory is freed |
When you close the window, V2Duo stays next to the clock and the connection stays up. Click the tray icon to bring it back.
Start with Windows and auto connect
Settings has two options:
- Start with Windows: V2Duo opens next to the clock after the computer starts.
- Connect automatically: it connects on its own after opening.
More tools in the Windows version
- QR scan on screen and reading QR pictures from the clipboard
- Speed lab and Measure & balance
- DNS mode, including encrypted and ad-blocking DNS
- Copy the app log for support, from Settings
Frequently asked questions
Does V2Duo conflict with v2rayN or other VPN apps?
If another VPN or TUN app is running at the same time, their routes clash. Disconnect the others before connecting V2Duo.
Why does my antivirus warn me?
Apps that create virtual network adapters are sometimes flagged. Only download from the official site and compare the SHA-256 checksum with the download page.
Is there a 32-bit or Windows 7 version?
No. Only 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 are supported.
How do I remove it completely?
Uninstall V2Duo from Apps in Windows Settings. The service and the virtual adapter go with it.
Ready to try it?
V2Duo is free and takes a minute to install.
